You're So Ugly
Minnesota indie hip-hop wonder kids Atmosphere have just launched a new site called You're So Ugly that is based on their album 'God Loves Ugly.' The site is perfect for a quick viral fix and the tools they used are seamless to promote the re-release of this classic album.
The premise is simple, you upload your photo and your face is inserted onto the cover of 'God Loves Ugly.' You can then share the photo with friends, download it to use as your Myspace, Facebook or Twitter profile photo. You can Digg it, submit it to Sumbleupon or Tweet about your ugly mug. Then you can view the gallery of everyone who has cropped their mug to take over from a young Slug.

If a small indie label from a city with current sub zero temperatures can turn out this site on a budget and get kids to feel a part of the movement, what can you do?

Pretty interesting stuff. A great way to get the super-fans a means to show their fandom in a fun and under-the-radar kind of way.
Atmosphere is AWESOME!! This is a really great idea of keeping fans involved. Always releasing something new, just like we talked about.
@evolvor - their fans are the ones that built their label (rhymesayers) and the respect they show them back is the reason they are still consistently releasing great products and not folding as we speak!
